The challenge

Employee review campaigns were previously organized separately by each region. Every region followed its own way of working, with no shared system that allowed HR to centrally manage and monitor the campaigns.

As a result, there was no global overview, and reporting across the entire group was particularly time-consuming. HR had to request the status from each region and then manually consolidate the information.

For an international organization operating across five continents, this fragmented approach was no longer sustainable. Boortmalt therefore needed one central solution that would enable every region to follow the same consistent process.

The solution

Qubix developed a central Employee Performance Review (EPR) app that enables managers to evaluate employees across different review campaigns. HR was also provided with a separate Admin app to centrally manage and monitor campaigns, employees and performance reviews.

The solution was built using Microsoft Dataverse, Power Apps and Power Automate. Microsoft Entra ID manages access through security groups, while Power BI enables reporting across the different regions. Qubix also provided training, allowing Boortmalt to independently launch new review campaigns.

Today, managers worldwide use the same app and follow one consistent process. HR has a central overview of all campaigns from a single system, eliminating the need to request and manually consolidate status updates from each region. New regions and campaigns can easily be added, allowing the solution to scale alongside Boortmalt’s international organization.

With the central EPR app, Boortmalt transformed a fragmented regional process into one unified, scalable approach to employee performance reviews used across the organization.
